Join us! One of the biggest annual AIGA San Diego Student Group event, UNITE. The event brings together students and professionals. Come and get inspired by local professional panel speaker and acclaimed Los Angeles designer, Margo Chase from Chase Design Group. This is the mini conference organized by the AIGA San Diego Student Group. Being a graphic designer is not easy. We have to create effective and engaging designs, usually on tight deadlines and often with hard-to-please clients. We have to have tools and techniques ready in our design arsenal to be able to inspire our creativity and explain and defend our designs to clients, art directors and account managers.
In this process workshop you will:
Learn more about what a typical process for a graphic design project can look like.
Understand why it is so important (professionally and mentally)
to nail down a process that works for you.
Get tips on how you can take steps towards finding a design process that will help you become a more productive (and calmer) designer.
See samples of how other designer have used process pages in their portfolios to communicate the process they used to develop their design concepts.
