Insta-peek!

Hello! (Okay, I always hear Adele in my head every time I say that word now??)....I am long over due for a little peek into my world via Instagram. Here is what is happening behind the scenes at Shelter....

A little peek at my tree. I adore vintage ornaments. I've been collecting ornaments for years. I picked up the vintage gold tinsel at the little shop near my hose a few weeks ago!

Happy, happy. I love J. Crew, it might be predictable but I have great luck there! I bought this pink sweater and these earrings (amazing in person) last week. I wore them both to a party! They are on sale for 30% off with the code: shopnow, a number of goodies are 40% off.

I had a photo shoot last week, please pardon the poor quality of my i phone shots. Here is a peek at the foyer and kitchen...The job turned out great and I love working with my photographer, Sarah Winchester (you can see Sarah, working her magic in the right corner below)! I will share the before pictures of this brownstone when I get her originals back. (the top door is also charcoal too but looks lighter in this image)...I think the Valspar paint colors look beautiful too.

I also styled a living room for a client! These gilded pheasants were a beautiful find. I got them in Woodstock, VT, at a shop called R.T Home.

My family and I cut down our Christmas Tree in Vermont at Bunny Acres. It's a fun tradition...Here is a photo of Matty and I.
