Oh Christmas Tree ......

Every December my family and I head up to my parent's log home in Vermont to select and cut down our Christmas tree.  I recently came across Patrick McGuire's cozy little cabin in Country Living. The home reminded me a little of my parent's cabin. The simple rustic details, warm pine walls and mix of plaids all make for a charming get away. I've always had an older (circa 88-91 ish) Jeep Wagoneer on my wish list, this one looks pretty perfect loaded up with goodies and that adorable pooch.

Hoping the images of this quaint home brighten your Tuesday. I'm much looking forward to continuing our family traditions and my get away in the mountains this weekend. (tree image via)
